Ferrari driver syncs up with F1 team’s official racewear supplier.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has signed a personal, global ambassador deal with German sportswear brand Puma.
Contract:
- Monegasque signs strategic partnership aimed at driving awareness for the brand’s motorsport and fashion lines
- Leclerc will feature in high-profile Puma campaigns, with a particular emphasis on promoting the Scuderia Ferrari collections
Context:
Ferrari renewed its multi-year partnership with Puma last year which saw the brand become a ‘premium partner’ of the Formula One team for the start of the 2024 season. That deal, which extends a relationship dating back to 2005, grants Puma licensing rights for Ferrari-branded products and sees the brand serve as the supplier of the team’s racewear.
Comment:
“I’m very happy to become a member of the Puma family,” said Leclerc. “There are so many iconic Puma athletes that I looked up to when I was younger. Now, to be able to be part of the same family is a special moment for me.
“Puma is the perfect match to support me on my journey to consistently improve as an athlete by supplying me with their latest designs and via the support of Puma’s team and athletes. I am really looking forward to being only one phone call away to share experiences and to have the support of the Puma Family and to dive into joint projects with the brand on- and off-track.”
Coming next:
Leclerc’s first race as a Puma athlete will be when Formula One resumes after a mini-break for the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of Americas, with practice getting underway on 18th October.
