The Guardians are the latest MLB team to sign a patch sponsorship, as the club will begin wearing a logo for Marathon Petroleum on its uniform sleeves “starting July 3 when they open a six-game homestand” against the Braves. The deal, which runs through 2026, also will put the Ohio-based company’s logo “on the first-base side of Progressive Field as well as the continuation of home plate signage.” The Guardians are the 12th team to feature a jersey patch.
