Strategic alliance between both agencies to manage some of the sport’s brightest prospects

Following the recent announcement of the creation of a partnership between Rocket Yard and Hype Sports Management, the agencies are delighted to announce the signing of talented English professional golfer, Jack Floydd.

Hot off the heels of his maiden win at the Ein Bay Open last week, which is continuation of his strong season on the Alps Tour in 2022, sees Floydd currently at the top of this season’s Order of Merit. Players finishing in the top five on the Alps Tour Order of Merit at the end of the season will see them graduate onto the Challenge Tour for 2024.

On the signing of Floydd, Daryl Evans, Managing Director of Rocket Yard Sports said, “This agreement has been a long time in the making and we are delighted that Jack has chosen to work with us in representing his career and commercial interests in the game of golf.”

Ally Mellor, CEO of Hype Sports Management added, “Jack has been on the radar for some time now and we believe he has all the traits to have bright future in the game. I am excited to play a part in his development.”

As part of the alliance between the two brands, Rocket Yard will continue to oversee commercial applications, whilst Hype will provide the wider support for Floydd as he makes his way through the professional ranks.

In addition to the new signing of Jack Floydd, several existing Rocket Yard clients will also begin working with Hype Sports Management. These include; Taylor Carter, Scott Gregory, and David Wicks. All three continue to compete across the world’s leading professional tours, and will be further supported by Hype as they look to take the next steps in their respective careers.

The four youngsters join Hype Sports Management’s already-impressive roster of talent which includes; Zane Scotland, Maha Haddioui, and South African professionals Justin Walters, Dean Burmester, and Shaun Norris, amongst others.

Of the wider partnership, Evans continued, “We’re already starting to see the benefit of our partnership with Ally and his team, with our players receiving additional support both on and off the course, with the wider pool of talent between the two agencies creating numerous commercial opportunities for the players”.
