Real Madrid break €1bn revenue barrier again as profit rises 56%
Spanish giants remain only soccer team to surpass €1bn revenue mark, not including player transfers.

Real Madrid saw their revenue rise ten per cent year-over-year (YoY) to €1.185 billion (US$1.383 billion) in the 2024/25 season.

Confirmed:

  • Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) up 55 per cent to €242.9 million (US$283.4 million)
  • Profit after tax increases from €15.6 million (US$18.2 million) last year to €24.3 million (US$28.4 million)
  • Net equity climbs four per cent to €598.3 million (US$698 million)
  • Net debt, excluding redevelopment of Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, rises from €8.5 million (US$9.9 million) to €11.7 million (US$13.6 million)
  • Outstanding loan balance for stadium redevelopment project stands at €1.132 billion (US$1.321 billion) as of 30th June 2025

Context:

The revenue figure doesn’t include player transfers. Real became the first soccer team to exceed €1 billion (US$1.2 billion) in annual revenue, having done so in 2023/24, and no other club has achieved that milestone to date. The Ebitda figure of €242.9 million was also a record for Real.

The Spanish giants said all business lines registered growth, with the exception of broadcasting, due to the removal of Uefa market pool revenues, which was as a result of the new revenue-sharing system, and the fact that revenues received from LaLiga in 2024/25 were slightly lower than in the previous campaign.

There were particularly notable increases in revenue from competitions, marketing and stadium operations. Los Blancos reached the semi-finals of this summer’s Fifa Club World Cup and took home US$82.5 million in prize money from the tournament.

Real said that, given the event began in the 2024/25 financial year, and ended in 2025/26, the club’s income and expenses for the first part of the tournament have been recorded in the 2024/25 financial year. The rest will be recorded as part of the 2025/26 results.
